If you choose to treat this as a home based sales job, you can
work right from home. Most sales can be made over the
phone. You will be an Independent Contractor, so you make up
your own schedule and work style.
It is important that you possess these
qualities:

Experience in sales
is useful, but not required. You should have sales ability,
however.

area you will be selling advertising to.

you don't have to be a geek, but you need to be familiar with
email and word processing.

No Long or Complicated Sales Script
These are the type of ads that you deliver with a
straight-forward message. Your job is to alert the
advertisers of the opportunity and get their commitment. It
is no hard sell or long drawn-out process.
People in the hospitality business are busy and
usually under a great deal of pressure. They will appreciate
a brief, but clear presentation of a promotional opportunity.
Generous Commissions
We think of you as a partner. You will have a lot of
freedom and flexibility, but we only work with professionals -
people who take their job seriously, are dedicated and use common
sense and courtesy.
In that vein, the first year you get 30% of
everything you sell. For renewals, you will get 20% - year
after year after year*.
Example: The first year, you sell a full
page ad at the annual rate of $169.00 plus a web link for $24 for
a total of $193.00. Your portion is 30%, so you get
$57.90.
The second year the client renews. You
will get 20% of the renewal fee which is undetermined yet.*
You get paid on cleared funding (meaning we have
received and verified payment) every Friday via PayPal, so you
will have access to your funds instantly.
*In
order to get the renewal commission, you must still be an active
sales representative and meet minimal production requirements.
